Ref 402 - Full Stack NodeJS/React Developer

Location: 100% Remote

The role:
As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you will work on design and implementation of a web application in the healthcare industry. The company, which is developing next generation at-home testing kits for Covid and other illnesses, is building an internal application that will support their customer service team in managing customer needs as they grow. 

Location:
Work remotely from anywhere in Latin America.

Required Skills:
● Expert skills in JavaScript and strong familiarity with TypeScript.
● Experience developing backend APIs using Node.js and Express.
● Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB.
● Experience building web frontends using React, React Hooks, and Redux.
● Experience with Google Cloud Platform a plus
● Experience with microservice architectures a plus.

Responsibilities:
● Design and implement code for the full stack of a web application that will be widely used internally by the company.
● Make key decisions about how to design the application to maximize performance and scalability, taking advantage of your extensive knowledge of frameworks, design paradigms, etc.   
● Perform code reviews for other members of the team to ensure code quality and consistency.
● Collaborate with other development teams within the organization to ensure this application properly integrates with external microservices and APIs, is consistent in design with others, takes advantage of common libraries and components where possible, etc.
● Work closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, QA and end users to achieve a high level of quality and product fit.

Fluent level of English is a must since the Client is based in Massachusetts, USA

Availability: Full-time (40 hours weekly)
