WordPress PHP Developer

Location: 100% Remote

Our Client helps health and wellness companies develop the next generation of products,
faster and more affordably than ever before.

The role:
As a Wordpress developer, you will use your creativity, excellent problem solving, and
technical skills to design, implement and maintain attractive and functional websites for their
clients and their internal projects. You will be responsible for both back-end and front-end
development including the implementation of WordPress themes and plugins as well as site
integration and security updates.

Location:
Work remotely from anywhere in Latin America.

Responsibilities:
● Meeting with project owners and clients to discuss website design and function.
● Designing, building and maintaining the website front-end.
● Collaborate with members of a creative team
● Adding functionality to existing Wordpress websites.
● Modifying existing custom plugins
● Conducting website performance and integration tests.
● Troubleshooting content issues.
● Troubleshooting custom plugin issues.
● Maintain well-documented, reusable, and transferrable code
● Monitoring the performance of the live website.
● Stay abreast of new developments in software, trends, and practices

Required Skills:
● Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar field.
● Proven work experience as a WordPress developer.
● Proficiency using WordPress
● Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and
jQuery.
● Knowledge of code versioning tools including Git, Mercurial, and SVN.
● Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.
● Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
● Ability to manage projects.
● Good communication skills.

Fluent level of English is a must since the Client is based in the USA.

Availability: Full-time (40 hours weekly)

Duration: +6 months (possible contract extension)

Start Date: ASAP
